Don’t you just hate how whenever you get embarrassed about something, there’s no way to hide it? Your cheeks turn all red, and everyone can see that you’re blushing. At that moment when you start feeling insecure inside, it becomes so obvious on the outside too. And then what? What are you supposed to do in that situation? Everyone knows you are embarrassed or uncomfortable, and running away will just make it worse!
I think the best thing to do is to pretend you aren’t embarrassed. Just keep on talking if you are giving a speech, or ignore the faces some of your peers might be making to their friends. Because the only thing that matters is how you feel and how you present yourself.
Say and do what you want without worrying about messing up so much. In the long run, it won’t matter that you got embarrassed or that people might have made fun of you. What will matter is how you handled it. Everyone makes simple mistakes and has uncomfortable moments (accidentally spilling spaghetti sauce on your jeans, slipping in mud and falling on your butt).
Although we’ve been taught this since kindergarten, it makes complete sense. Nobody is perfect. Live your life doing and saying what you want. Instead of spending time worrying about those mortifying moments, use that energy to have fun and move on.

This is such a great blog! It definitely applies to me, and everyone else! Keep up the great work!
