As I watched the QVC video, I was surprisingly intrigued. Could this dry shampoo actually work? Dry shampoo is all the rage these days. I have had many friends try out several different versions and brands of dry shampoo. Some say it works for a short time, and others have been disappointed with their purchase.
The friends I have spoken to about dry shampoo say that unless it is the foam dry shampoo, it turns your scalp white. Most dry shampoo products have a white powder base to them, which clears the oils in your hair but leaves a [ ...continue reading ]

Picking this product was easy. Over the years I have tried numerous whitening treatments, including several different versions of the very pricey Crest White Strips. They have not only failed to stay in my mouth during the treatment, but also failed to work for me. I was excited to finally try a whitening treatment that did not involve plastic strips glued to my teeth. When the package arrived in the mail it was like opening a Christmas present. I ripped open the box and held up my new gift. I spent a thorough 20 minutes investigating the product by [ ...continue reading ]

As what seemed like the entire senior class hopped on a plane to Mexico, I went my separate way. This year, I had my most memorable spring break to date. Don’t you hate carrying a bulky water bottle? Most girls find it very inconvenient to lug around a massive water bottle. It’s usually hard plastic and very heavy. I recently was lucky enough to try a new alternative.
It is called Vapur. It is the “Anti-Bottle” and is completely accessible. It has a replaceable cap and mouthpiece, a clip-on attachment, and it is lightweight. It is easy to latch this water bottle onto the side of your purse—like I did. It’s also very easy to roll up and throw in your bag when you are not using it. I [ ...continue reading ]

Sunday Afternoons Are DIY Days
I love Sunday afternoons for the sole reason that they are so relaxing. Sometimes I feel like I should be doing something somewhat productive though; like a DIY project. Do it yourself projects are something my older sister and I enjoy doing together. It occupies your time and at the end you have made something really cool. My sister found our most recent DIY—a woven chain bracelet project.
All you need for the project is a curb-link bracelet, embroidery thread, two bobby pins and scissors. You can find the embroidery thread at any type [ ...continue reading ]
