It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year?

Everyone’s talking about this famous time of year. The time when snow falls, everything is briskly cold and the only way to warm up—absent a planned vacation to a tropical island—is to spend quality time with friends and family. The decorations, music in the crowded shopping malls (that open at 4 a.m., mind you), TV ads—all kicking off the second that Thanksgiving ends, is also a thing that comes to mind when thinking about this holiday season.

Junior Year Approaching

So it is that famous back-to-school season. As I am in the process of finishing up my summer reading books, I get this feeling of stress again. Do I really need to go back and step into a world of work and early mornings? And, just as I bring up this topic, my friends remind me: “Ugh, junior year is going to be horrible!”

Facebook Albums

To say the least, Facebook is taking over! Almost everyone has a Facebook account, especially, it seems, teenagers and young adults, but the age ranges from middle school to grandparents!

I sign on everyday, and the first thing I look at is my homepage, which gives a glimpse of my friend’s latest additions to their profiles. Most of the time there are pictures added from the birthday bash the past weekend, or a day at the beach with friends. Leaving for the Summer

During the school year we dread waking up every morning to go through the daily grind, we count down the days until summer vacation and when final exam week arrives, we jump for joy as each one finishes. Almost every girl loves to indulge herself in a magazine full of fashion and advice. Reading about the new styles of the season, the funny, embarrassing stories that girls send in, celebrity gossip, and the tips to make your day better is always fun.
